1982 was the year when Kawasaki AR 125 was first introduced to the world. It had liquid cooled, two stroke engine with single cylinder and disc valve. In terms of capacity, it was with 124 Bore x Stroke 55 ? 51.8 mm Compression Ratio 6.5:1. Max power was 22 hp at 9500 rpm and maximum torque was 1.7 kg-m at 8000 rpm. Few issues associated with Kawasaki 125:
Though specifications are good enough, but, you can find mixed reactions of people pertaining to performance. No one, however, can deny the fact that it has pretty impressive acceleration especially when it reaches to 8000 rpm. But, there are some people who have different views. For instance, you can find people arguing that there is no sufficient weight at the back end which makes it to weave a bit while riding into the wind.
Here, it is also, significant to mention that there are lots of people who believe that Kawasaki 125 is just perfect to ride on dry roads. But, a problem in road handling is observed when it comes to riding on wet roads.
A handy piece of advice:
If you own one such bike, just pay attention to its tuning and it will keep serving you in the best possible way. But, if you want to fit after-market air filter or other parts, then you must make sure that these components are according to the jet sizes recommended for carburetor. This is essential to make your bike perform in the optimum way for long time.
So, the fact of the matter is that it may not be the best model of Kawasaki in terms of comfort, but, there is no real issue mechanically. There are few things that are not liked by some people but it is one of the good bikes to have as your first bike.
